All our door supervisors hold a SIA Badge and are personable, presentable and receive on-going training to ensure their knowledge is up to date, all our door supervisors are trained in new rules and regulation as defined by the Licensing Act 2003 including Challenge 21.

Retail Officers
Our retail officers are trained and undertake duties such as tag checks, stock checks, in-store promotions, delivery, loss prevention and most importantly fronting your premises in a professional manner, with a professional image. We ensure our retail officers work as part of your team. We encourage your managers to get involved in a basic interview to ensure they feel that the officer will fit within their environment. This has worked well in the retail industry and has now been introduced to the commercial sector as well. Like our commercial officers we encourage officers to aim high and motivate them to achieve professionally and personally in life. With ongoing training and guidance throughout their careers with Security Guard Company our officers are able to move through the ranks like some of our current Senior Management and Directors have done in the past.
Commercial Officers
Our commercial officers are trained and specialise in duties such as gate-house security, weighbridge controlling, CCTV monitoring, daily deliveries, traffic management, internal/external patrols and many other security services. We provide a clocking point system for all full-time commercial sites which in turn helps you to monitor the quality of our services.
Store Dectectives
Our Store Detectives are trained to work as part of a team in a region with multiple stores or to work individually blending in with the general public and working completely alone. We have a full Loss Prevention and Store Detective Team headed by our National Loss Prevention Manger who is based at our Head Office.
The predominant role of our Store Detectives is the covert, detection and apprehension of retail criminals by utilising their in depth knowledge of PACE (Police & Criminal Evidence Act). Whilst having been trained in all aspects of retail security their main concentration is the art of “thief taking”. Thief taking has been developed over the last 5 years by our Loss Prevention Team and whilst the title is self explanatory; it is a complex and finely tuned art which provides outstanding results.
